Sixth Annual Project Heroes Event

A Western BBQ Dinner, Dance & Auction

Hosted by the United Way, a 501(c)3 Non-Profit.

Tens of thousands of service men and women have been injured in combat, many of them suffering Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI),

amputations, severe Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and serve burns, which will retire them from service. Project Heroes provides

its proceeds to programs and services, such as benefits counseling, family assistance and much more to ease their burdens and aid in the

transition back to a successful civilian life.

Since Oakdale is considered the “Cowboy Capital of the World”, the evening will be centered around a Western Theme to include old fashion

Western BBQ with all the fixins’, live bands, raffle, a silent auction and live auction in Oakdale, CA. Portions of the proceeds will be used to help local

veteran’s programs like California Canine Academy, Dignity’s Alcove and national programs like the Wounded Warrior Project and Fisher House.
